Police in Natick wish to identify man who approached two people on Route 27

Posted: Updated:

NATICK, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Natick are asking for the public's help identifying a 60-year-old white male who approached a young man on Route 27 near the Sherborn line and offered him a ride.

Police said the incident involving the young man occurred in late March; however, another similar incident involving a young woman reportedly occurred on Route 27 near the Wayland line in April. The woman told police she was asked questions by a man with similar features.

While the incidents were similar, a different vehicle was reportedly used each time. In the first event, a gold Toyota Corolla or similar vehicle was used. The car had a yellow pine tree handing from the rear-view mirror and smelled of cigarettes, police said.

In the second incident, police said a black two-door sports car was used.

Neither event went beyond the man in the vehicle asking questions.

The male is described as a white male in his 60s with pale skin and dark sunglasses. He had "high" curly gray hair and a gray beard.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Natick Police Dept. at 508-647-9520.
