Two killed, one injured after tractor trailer crash in Keene, N.H.

KEENE, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Two people died after a tractor trailer crash in Keene, N.H. Friday.

Investigators say a tractor trailer truck carrying an unknown amount of petroleum products and a car collided on Route 12 north near the Route 9 east ramp at about 10:30 a.m.

The truck caught on fire following the crash. Video from Skyfox showed the truck's cab was completely burnt out. Firefighters were spraying water on the tanker trailer.

Two people died in the crash. Investigators are withholding their identities until family members are notified.

A third person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Commuters were told to plan for significant traffic on Route 12. Portions of the road between West Street and Maple Ave remained closed Friday afternoon.
