High pressure will continue to rule the northeast weather all weekend. That means sunshine and mild temperatures. It also means sea breezes will cool coastal sections.
There is much-needed rain in the 7-day forecast, though I'm not totally sold on it just yet.
Heavy rain in the Midwest wrapping around a stalled area of low pressure will be slowly migrating southeast. That circulation will pick up some more moisture in Florida and push it up the coast. That could mean some rain for us later next week. However, if that low stays farther south, the rain may not make it in here. We'll keep you posted.
Pollen counts will stay high in the dry pattern, particularly tree pollen. The rain would wash that away, at least temporarily.
