Falmouth boy flown to hospital after falling into campfire

FALMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 6-year-old boy was taken via helicopter to a Boston hospital after falling into a small campfire at his Kompass Drive home in Falmouth.

Officials from the Falmouth Fire Dept. told FOX 25 the incident occurred at 48 Kompass Dr. at about 5:20 p.m. Saturday.

The boy was taken to a Boston hospital via MedFlight for treatment of burns he sustained on his hands. His condition is unknown.
