Delta flight makes emergency landing

ATLANTA -

An international Delta flight from Atlanta to Germany was forced to return after blowing out a landing gear tire.

A spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration tells FOX 5 News that Delta Flight 130 from Atlanta to Munich declared an emergency shortly after takeoff due to that blown tire.

The Boeing 767-400 returned and landed safely back at Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson International Airport just before 5 p.m.

The flight was delays in Atlanta for about 5 hours.
