(MyFoxBoston.com) – Congress is preparing to hold its first hearing on the Boston Marathon bombings in Washington this week.
The Boston Globe reports that House Homeland Security Committee will look into the response from law enforcement and emergency responders as well as on the events leading up to bombings. Among the witnesses expected to be called to the hearing is Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis.
The committee says this will be the first in a series of hearings over the next several weeks. They want to know if any warning signs were missed and how they can learn from this and prevent future attacks.
