The FOX show "Kitchen Nightmares" is ending its season in Scottsdale. This episode is already getting a lot of attention after the police were called during the production and the show was leaked on YouTube.
The owners decided to go on the show after they were badly reviewed -- even harassed online in 2010.
I've watched some of May 10's episode and it is dramatic.
There was yelling and fighting when Chef Gordon Ramsay was there, but we went to see what it's like on a regular day.
"..you can't come in here and say these things."
"I can't take it. I can't take it."
Breakdowns. And fights with customers.
That's the behavior you'll see from Amy and Samy Bouzagla in the episode, but restaurant guests we talked to had a much different experience when the cameras weren't rolling at Amy's Baking Company Bistro.
"Very nice. Very, very nice," said Ann Rilley.
"Greeting us at the door which is really nice. Makes you feel comfortable.. at home," added Maureen Buhl.
When we told the ladies what they would see during the episode, they couldn't believe it.
"They're very friendly, personable people and I can't imagine them not being that way," said Maureen.
"She's very personable and she does all the baking herself, so I thought that was great 'cause most often, you don't see someone behind the counter who actually does the baking, it's someone else," said Ann.
It's possible that changes have been made since Chef Ramsay's visit because we didn't find any patrons complaining about their food.
These ladies say no matter what they see on the show, they'll come back to the bistro.
"Yes, they have a nice menu and I'm very impressed with the bakery," said Ann.
"Kitchen Nightmares" airs right here on FOX 10 at 7pm May 10th.
