WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - A Worcester man has been found guilty of raping and killing a mother of five whose partially clothed body was found near railroad tracks in 2006.

Thirty-one-year-old Edwin Mazariego was convicted of first-degree murder and aggravated rape by a Worcester Superior Court jury after about five hours of deliberation on Friday.
Prosecutors said DNA evidence tied the defendant to the death of 41-year-old Maxine Libby.
Defense lawyer John Roemer said one of Mazariego's friends killed Libby, and himself was shot to death about a year after Libby died near the location her body was found.
The Telegram & Gazette reports Roemer filed a motion asking the judge to set aside the verdicts. A hearing is set Thursday before sentencing.
Libby's brother, Darryl Libby. said Friday that his sister has justice, and "now she can rest."
