WARREN, Mich. (WJBK) -

Monday during the lunch hour in Warren, Ken Calvert, Fireman Tim from the Farmington Hills Fire Department and the WCSX crew were collecting donations for the family of fallen Wayne-Westland firefighter Brian Woehlke.

Woehlke leaves behind a young wife and a 13-month-old baby daughter.

"When times aren't good, we try to band together and do what we can for each other," Tim said.  "Anything we can do for the Brian Woehlke family fund, we're out here doing today."

WCSX will be at Roy O'Brien Ford in St. Clair Shores and Malarkey's in Westland collecting more donations until 7:00 p.m. Monday.

"Malarkey's... is donating 10 percent of their profits today [Monday] to the Brian Woehlke Memorial Trust Fund," said WCSX morning man Ken Calvert.

If you can't make it to one of those locations, there are other ways you can donate, including in person at Fire Station 1 in Westland.  For more information, visit www.wcsx.com/BrianWoehlkeFund.aspx.
