(MyFoxBoston.com) – Despite the filth, backtalk, and quality control issues, Gordon Ramsay, world renowned chef and host of "Kitchen Nightmares," has never walked away from a restaurant in need, that was until he faced off with the owners of Amy's Baking Company in Arizona and decided enough was enough.
During an episode of "Kitchen Nightmares" which aired May 10, Ramsay, who is typically known for his fierce temper and no nonsense attitude, met his match in the kitchen, Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, and decided he couldn't take the heat.
The couple run a baking company and restaurant in Scottsdale and claimed to make homemade desserts and food; however, the show found they were serving frozen, pre-packaged items that had been repackaged as their own.
The pair was also accused of taking their wait staff's tips.
During the taping of the show, Amy dropped a few choice, four-letter words on patrons who had gotten tired of waiting for their order and were ready to leave. Samy then took matters into his own hands and repeatedly threatened everyone from his staff to the customers.
Eventually, the police showed up after someone had enough of the nightmare and called 911.
Since the show aired, the couple's alleged Facebook page "Amy's Baking Company Bakery Boutique & Bistro" has become a hot topic on the Internet drawing criticism for its flagrant and threatening posts.
One post read, "To all of the Yelpers and Reddits: Bring it on. You are just sh**ts. Come to Arizona. You are weaker than my wife, and weaker than me. Come to my business. Say it to my face. Man to man. My wife is a jewel in the desert. You are just trash. Reddits and Yelpers just working together to bring us down."
The first post tackling the fallout from the show was posted after the show aired on May 10. Whoever posted the item thanked their supporters and attempted to explain some of the issues that were brought to light during the show; however, after that date, the posts, which have since been removed, took a turn for the worse and included profanity and threats littered with bad grammar and punctuation.
The most recent post on the page, as of May 14 at about 7:30 p.m., claims their social media pages, including Facebook, were hacked and says they are working with the FBI and local authorities to resolve the matter.
"Obviously our Facebook, Yelp, Twitter, and Website have been hacked. We are working with the local authorities as well as the FBI computer crimes unit to ensure this does not happen again. We did not post those horrible things. Thank you Amy & Samy."
Most of the thousands upon thousands of responses to the post were incredulous and full of sarcasm.
Who is to know if the accounts were truly hacked? If you watch the episode, which is full of similar antics and meltdowns, you might be inclined to side with Ramsay.
