He once said there was no shame in his game, but now Wayne County Circuit Judge Wade McCree is fighting to save his job and his career. Monday, the woman who was once his mistress testified about their numerous sexual encounters.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WJBK) -

Judge Wade McCree took the witness stand on Tuesday. The embattled judge had a lot to say about his affair with a woman who stood in his courtroom. His wife had something to say about it, too.

"'Oh, wait, things are going to change, things are going to be better,' and I believe it," McCree testified as he channeled the memory of his lover, the one that's got him in a removal proceeding for misconduct on the bench. His defense? Blame everything on the lover.

"Miss Mott is passionate. She would be at the apex of euphoria. She'd be at the abyss of near homicidal anger," McCree said. "I had to do a lot of things just to pacify her. I had to tell her things she needed to hear."

"So why not end it?" the judge was asked.

"I tried. I tried a couple, three, four times," McCree said. "We'd break up, and then the next day, she would contact me, and she would sweet talk me back into it."

There's no other way to say this. The testimony was downright gross at times, the public hearing the filthy pillow talk inside Judge McCree's marital chamber. He even involved his wife to lie and to trick the young woman into having an abortion by promising her a divorce.

"That plot is that since he was not going through with the divorce in terms of getting it finalized, but we were going through the motions as if we were so that she would have the abortion," said Laverne McCree, the judge's wife.

As for that case before Judge McCree, his girlfriend got no special treatment and her ex got no special penalty, even though the judge led her to believe she did.

"With Miss Mott in many of these matters, you got to tell her what she wants to hear or she continues to sweat you -- or sweat me. A nice, but demanding woman that she was, she always wanted, you know, the next biscuit," McCree testified.

And another thing, Detroit, even though the judge texted that he thinks you're a tatted up, gap-toothed, skank ho, he says he didn't really mean it, it was only a compliment to his girlfriend.

"We saw her when she was in here yesterday, but you take away the baby bump and here's a six foot tall woman in stiletto heels and all the bells and whistles, and I am setting her apart from the rank and file that come through the courtroom. But it's flattery," McCree said.

It turns out there was a lot of shame in his game, and the judge admitted as much on Tuesday. The next step is cross-examination.
