Police sources tell FOX 29 News a veteran Philadelphia narcotics officer has been taken into custody by the FBI and police in connection with a long-term undercover investigation.
FBI agents and police raided the officers home early Wednesday morning.
This is the result of a internal affairs and FBI joint investigation.
Sources say police have wire taps and undercover videotape. The allegations are that the officer was ripping off suspected drug dealers.
The officer is expected in federal court Wednesday afternoon, FOX 29's Dave Scratwieser reports..
