Inclement weather forces cancellation of Air Show at Jones Beach

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

First the Sequester cuts took the American military out of the Jones Beach Air Show and now the cold and rainy start to Memorial Day has washed out the first day of the air show.

The Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach will go on as scheduled on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The 2013 Bethpage Air Show celebrates its 10th anniversary at Jones Beach State Park Memorial Day Weekend with an all-star lineup of civilian performers and the Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18's.

In 2012, over 200,000 people attended the Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach.
