Off-duty officer saves 85-year-old woman from Arlington fire

ARLINGTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – An 85-year-old woman was saved from a burning two-story house in Arlington.
    
Off-duty officer Michael Hogan was training for the Pan-Mass Challenge when he saw the flames at the Webster Street home.
    
According to the Arlington Patch, Hogan along with the woman's neighbor, John Flynn, broke down the door to get the woman to safety. She was in bed, but the men helped her outside.
    
She was taken to the hospital. There is no word on her condition.
    
Firefighters said the flames broke out on the second floor back porch. It's unclear how the fire started.
