Woman accused of interfering with flight crew

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A woman was arrested Thursday after police said she interfered with the flight crew aboard an American Airlines jetliner.

Paulina Franoszek, 32, of Poland, who is charged with assault and battery, is scheduled to be arraigned 2 p.m. Friday in East Boston District Court, according to an American Airlines spokesperson.

Flight 66 took off from John F. Kennedy International Airport at 5:13 p.m. and was bound for Barcelona, Spain, but was diverted to Boston for a passenger misconduct issue.

The plane landed at Logan International Airport at 7:15 p.m. Franoszek was taken off the plane and the plane took off again at 8:10 p.m.
