BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Boston police are investigating two double shootings in Roxbury that resulted in the death of one victim.

Investigators tell FOX 25 they received a call for a person shot in the area of Columbia and Washington streets just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday. They arrived to the scene to find two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was transported to Boston Medical Center. Their condition is unknown.

A woman at the scene of the shooting who says she is the victim's aunt identifies her as 22-year-old Brianna Bigsby. Brianna's aunt says she attended Concord-Carlisle High School in the Metco program and also attended college.

Boston police requested any available officers to assist in a search for the suspect. They describe the suspects as two heavy set black males.

There is no word on whether or not the Saturday afternoon shooting was related to an early morning double shooting on Humboldt Avenue.

Two men in their 20s were brought to Boston Medical Center for apparent gunshot wounds. One victim was in critical, but stable condition. The second victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
