SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

"Health is the new wealth," that is the message from Quincy Jones III.

The Grammy-winning producer is working on a new documentary as part of his "Feel Rich" project, which aims to educate the African-American and Latino communities about health and wellness.

Part of the push includes expanding urban farms, so Jones spent a little time in our own Fox 2 garden on Wednesday to tell us about the project.

"We just noticed that they're over-indexing in terms of health issues, but there's really no content online or on television that speaks directly to them, so we're here to provide that," said Jones. "Urban gardening is a huge component, and I think it also teaches the community about nutrition, and people that grow their own vegetables are much more likely to eat them."

He told us he reached a turning point with his own health several years ago, and that journey inspired the documentary.

Jones has also created a "Feel Rich" website, YouTube network and mobile app. For more information, visit www.feelrich.com.
