The FOX 25 Morning News chats with Tonya David and Kai Leigh Harriott during the Zip Trip to Roxbury.
Kai was 3 years old in 2003 when a stray bullet fired by Anthony Warren hit Kai while she was sitting with her sister on the porch of their third floor apartment in Dorchester. That bullet severed Kai's spinal cord 99.7 percent, and left her paralyzed from the chest down. Kai forgave her shooter in the courtroom. They now live in Roxbury and have since started an organization to promote forgiveness called Forgiveness Is The Way.
