Police search for suspect accused of armed ATM robberies

MALDEN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Malden and Medford are searching for a male suspect they believe is responsible for two ATM robberies in the area.

Police said the first robbery occurred at the Bank of America ATM in Malden at about 1:43 a.m. on May 26. The suspect allegedly snuck into the ATM while the victim was taking money from the machine, pointed a gun at her, and demanded money.

The second robbery allegedly occurred at the Bank of America ATM located at 4110 Mystic Valley Parkway in Medford on May 29. According to police, the same suspect pointed a gun at another victim as she was taking money from the ATM.

The suspect is described as a young, white male.

Bank of America is offering a reward for information leading to the suspect's arrest.
