Boston man victim of 'probable' hit and run on Saugus highway
SAUGUS, Mass. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was spotted lying in the median of a Saugus highway.
The Essex district attorney's office says the body of 24-year-old Yasin Ismail was spotted by a motorist in the median of Route 107 at about 5 a.m. Friday.
Investigators say Ismail, a Boston resident, was the victim of a "probable hit and run."
Police are relying on the public's help in any leads in the case. They have collected glass fragments recovered at the scene, but they say there is no surveillance cameras along that portion of the road.
