MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police are investigating an early morning fatal shooting inside an apartment in Manchester.
In a statement, New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph Foster and Manchester Police Chief David Mara said police received a 911 call at 3 a.m. Sunday from an apartment on Lake Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a man who didn't live in the apartment dead from what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound. His name hasn't been released pending notification of family members.
Detectives say the man is thought to have been shot by one of three people who lived in the apartment where the shooting took place.
Police say one of the apartment residents suffered minor injuries during the incident, but the other two weren't hurt.
The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy.
