SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Three U.S. House seats in Georgia up for grabs in the 2014 elections are already drawing crowded fields of candidates with one major exception: So far, no Democrats have declared for any of the races.

There's still more than a year to go before the primaries, but Republicans are getting out early in races to replace GOP Reps. Paul Broun of Athens, Phil Gingrey of Marietta and Jack Kingston of Savannah. They're all vacating their seats so they can run to succeed retiring U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss.

A total of 16 Republican candidates have launched campaigns for the open House seats.

Local Democratic leaders say they don't have many established officeholders to recruit. And each of the open districts was drawn to give Republicans a daunting advantage.
