PHILADELPHIA -

There was a chaotic scene Tuesday night at Dulles International Airport in Washington, and it was all recorded on video and uploaded to LiveLeak.com. That's when police say a visibly intoxicated Donald Gee of Port Richmond got into a verbal argument with a pilot and then got violent.

"He was supposed to have assaulted somebody, verbally from what I get, but he said the next minute he knew he was being handcuffed," said Gee's fiance Ruth Orensky at her Port Richmond home.

Police say the 53 year old Gee slapped and then attacked a United Airlines pilot after words were exchanged. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication and assault.

"I said, 'what are you doing?'" Orensky told Fox 29. "He said he was drinking."

Orensky says Gee has been in Afghanistan since last August when he took over as the head chef on a dredge ship for a private contractor. He was headed home to Port Richmond after 10 months overseas, and police say, a few too many drinks.

"I ain't (expletive) drunk," Gee could be heard saying on video from LiveLeak.com. "I'm (expletive) high as a kite."

"This man does not get hostile," Orensky said. "I'm thinking that just being in Afghanistan for that length of time; he just had to breath for a minute."

While his fiance says the alleged public intoxication and assault are out of character for Gee, she's hoping it all gets worked out in the end.

"Donald doesn't do stuff like that," she said. "If he would have drank here, which he very seldom does do. He's fine."

Gee was released on $2,500 bail. He was scheduled for a court hearing this afternoon.
