Mariah Carey to perform in Central Park

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Mariah Carey will share the stage with the New York Philharmonic in an upcoming free concert in Central Park.

Carey and the orchestra are taking part in a benefit for Superstorm Sandy victims on the Great Lawn.

The concert is set for July 13.

Although the concert is free, fans still need tickets.  General admission tickets are available beginning June 26 at 10 a.m. at AllStarGame.com/Concert and NYCGO.com.

Bon Jovi played a concert in Central Park the last time the MLB All-Star game was in New York City.  60,000 fans filled the Great Lawn for that show.
