Young siblings fall out window in NJ

NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) -

Two siblings fell out a window of an apartment in North Bergen, N.J., Tuesday night, officials said.

The children -- a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old -- fell from the second-story window of a building at 7400 Kennedy Boulevard East, police said. They hit the pavement about 22-feet below the window.

It happened at around 7:50 p.m.  One child was a boy, the other was a girl.  They fell through a screen that was on the window.

Medics rushed them to Jersey City Medical. They children were conscious and breathing after the fall. They were later transferred to UMDNJ Newark, police said.

Cops are investigating. No charges have been filed yet.
