List of Fourth of July festivities across the Commonwealth




Auburn Fireworks
Auburn, MA

Auburn is kicking off its Fourth of July celebrations with a parade starting at 5 p.m. July 5. The festivities will take place at the Dr. Arthur and Dr. Martha Pappas Recreation Complex on Pakachoag Street. The fireworks display will occur at 9:30 p.m.




Ayer Fourth of July Celebrations
Ayer, MA

The town will hold its annual fireworks display on Saturday, July 6. The event includes the Main Street parade at 3 p.m., entertainment, food booths, craft vendors, and children's activities at Pirone Park. The fireworks display will occur at dusk.



 Bellingham Fourth of July Concert & Fireworks

Bellingham, MA
July 4, rain date July 5

Bellingham will be setting off its fireworks at 9:30 p.m. on July 4 from the baseball fields at 100 Blackstone Street. The town will also have a concert which will begin at 7 p.m.




Beverly Farms – Fourth of July festivities
Beverly Farms, MA

The featured events are the Horribles Parade and a fireworks display to be held at West Beach at 9:15 p.m.

The fireworks display in Billerica will begin at dusk.




Bridgewater Fourth of July Event
Bridgewater, MA

The festivities will begin with a parade at 10 a.m. at Bridgewater State University. Other events, including a carnival at 5 p.m. will follow, and the fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. at Legion Field, 175 Bedford St.

Brockton Fourth of July Fireworks
Brockton, MA

Brockton will be having several days of fireworks to coincide with the annual Brockton Fair being in town. Their fireworks are scheduled for June 29 and July 3rd through the 6th at 10:45 p.m. at the Brockton Fairgrounds.

The fireworks will start at about 9 p.m. at the Veterans Athletic Complex on Route 10 across from the high school.




Dartmouth Fourth of July festivities

Dartmouth will kick off its fireworks display at 9:15 p.m. at UMass Dartmouth.




Independence Day Celebration in East Brookfield
East Brookfield, MA

Starting at 8:30 a.m., East Brookfield will be hosting Independence Day events. The Baptist Church will be kicking off the day with a pancake breakfast. There will be a parade at 12 p.m. along Main Street. Throughout the day events include a talent show, karaoke, and a chicken barbeque. East Brookfield's Spectacular Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. at Connie Mack Field.

The Town of Fitchburg will be hosting two nights of fireworks celebrations on July 3 and 5 off Rollstone Hill. The show will begin at 10 p.m.



Greenfield's Annual Independence Day Celebrations and Fireworks
Greenfield, MA

The Independence Day Celebration in Greenfield will be held on Beacon Field on July 6. Mixed Music will begin at 4 p.m., and the fireworks display will start at 9:30 p.m. Many activities, including Zumba will occur in between.

On Monday, July 8 Groton will host its annual Independence Day Celebration at Town Field. The events will begin at 6 p.m. with musical performers Silverlock in the Gazebo. Next, the Nashoba Valley Concert Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks display will kick off at 9 p.m.

The City of Haverhill will be hosting an Independence Day celebration in Riverside Park. There will be a DJ and multiple food vendors from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The fireworks show will kick off at 9 p.m.



Lowell Fun, Family, and Fireworks on the Fifth

July 5

Lowell will be hosting an evening of live music and family activities on July 5 at LeLacheur Park, home of the Lowell Spinners. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes face painting and a magician before the fireworks finale at 9 p.m.

The City of Methuen is hosting an Independence Day celebration full of exciting festivities. The musical entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a fireworks display at 9:15 p.m. The entertainment will include performances by the North Regional Theatre Workshop, the Mill City Band, and Harvard University Alumni Jazz Band.

The Town of Wakefield has a very active schedule for July 4. The fireworks will be set off at 9 p.m. at the end of Beacon Street, but there is plenty to do beforehand.

Walpole's fireworks display is scheduled for July 3 at 9:30 p.m. at Joe Morgan Field. A parade and show will precede the fireworks.

Waltham Fourth of July Celebration
Waltham, MA
July 4-5

Waltham will host two days of events beginning on the fourth with a family event at Prospect Hill Park. The event kicks off at 10 a.m. and includes free children's rides, pony rides, animal shows, and music.

A second day of events kicks off Friday at Leary Field with a band performance at 5:30 p.m. followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m.




Wilmington Fun on the Fourth
Wilmington, MA
July 2-7

Independence day is more like a whole week in Wilmington. The 33rd annual "Fun on the Fourth" celebration begins Tuesday and includes nightly dinners sponsored by town organizations, wiffle ball and horseshoe tournaments, and a road race. Fireworks will take place Thursday at 9:00 p.m. on the Town Common. Another display will be held on Saturday at 9:30 p.m.
