BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) — A 19-year-old Taunton man is headed to court to face a murder charge in connection with a deadly drive-by shooting in Brockton.
Derrick Dennis is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in connection with the April 22 daytime shooting of Vardly St. Felix.
Authorities tell The Enterprise (http://bit.ly/1auoMyU ) that Dennis was arrested on Saturday. He is charged with murder, two counts of assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
He is the second man arrested in connection with St. Felix's death.
Police say St. Felix was killed and another man injured when an SUV pulled up alongside their car and someone opened fire. A third man in the victim's car was uninjured.
It was not clear whether Dennis had a lawyer.
