MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -

Mitch from Macomb Township was in the market for a car, so he searched Craigslist on Monday and came across a listing for a 2001 Grand Am GT.

"I called on it," he said. "We talked about the mileage, and he said that it ran good. And then he just asked me if I wanted the picture before I could actually say anything. And I says, 'Yeah, go ahead and send me a picture. That's actually what I was going to ask you.'"

Mitch said about a minute or so later, "The picture came up of a man's penis."

The caption that came with it could be about a car, but we bet most people and even Mitch thinks this guy was referring to his parts.

"How u like that actually has low miles n drives really well perfect for a female," the caption read.

Giving the man the benefit of a doubt just in case the so-called seller sent the picture on accident, Mitch made his wife call to inquire about the car just to be sure.

"I believe he asked her if she was over 18, and she says, 'Yes, I'm over 18.' And then she tried to ask him some questions about the car, and she says, 'You know what? Yeah, go ahead and do that.'" And she got off the phone, and she said, 'He's going to send a picture,'" Mitch told us.

We're told the man sent the same picture and the same message.

Mitch's wife called police, though the seller didn't seem to care, reportedly texting, "Not like ill go to jail its just leud contact." We're told he even threatened Mitch's wife to find her and beat her.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said a report will be filed and they will investigate.
