NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A small plane crashed late Friday morning in Warren County, New Jersey.

The single-engine Piper came down near the Blairstown Airport just minutes after takeoff, the AP reported. The plane ended up on Gwinnup Road, across a field from the airport.

Two men on the plane suffered minor injuries. No one on the ground was hurt.

It is not clear what lead to the crash, but the NTSB will investigate due to the substantial damage sustained by the aircraft, according to the FAA.
