'Wedding Crasher' May Have Struck Before, Police Say

Posted: Updated:
LOWER GWYNEDD, Pa. -

Police say it's a matter of time before they arrest the accused crook who they say crashed a suburban wedding and stole all of the newlyweds' gifts!

And investigators say this guy may have done it before.

It happened Sunday night at the William Penn Inn in Lower Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County.

The wedding crasher was caught on surveillance cameras -- staking out the reception, before allegedly snatching a gift box full of cash and checks from the bride's car.

It's something that has the father of the bride stunned. The family had to call everyone who wrote checks and tell them to cancel.

Police say they have identified the suspect and have reached out to him but gotten no response.

They say for sure he knows they're looking for him and they are right now preparing a warrant for his arrest.
