3 Attack, Rob Man Walking On South 17th Street

PHILADELPHIA -

Police are looking for a trio of males seen on video just after an attack caught on camera in the Girard Estates section of the city.

A 53-year-old male was walking on the 1900 block of South 17th Street around 3 a.m. on July 7 when he was surrounded by a group of males demanding his money.

When the man refused, the group attacked him, kicking and punching his head and body.

The victim was able to escape but suffered serious injuries as a result.

If anyone has information regarding this attack, they are encouraged to call the South Detectives Division at 215-686-3013.

If you see these suspects, police said not to approach them but to call 9-1-1 immediately.
