BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Boston are asking for the public's assistance identifying a suspect wanted for indecent assault in Beacon Hill.

Officers responded to the reported assault at about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday. The victim told police she was walking toward the Charles/MGH MBTA Station on Brimmer Street when she was approached by a suspect who was walking in the opposite direction.

The suspect allegedly assaulted the victim and fled up Chestnut Street towards Charles Street.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s, 5'10" tall, and between 160 to 170 pounds with a slim to medium build. He has dark brown shaggy hair parted in the middle, no facial hair, and clear skin with an olive complexion.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a dark blue polo shirt with red Polo logo, medium straight leg jeans and dark colored sneakers.

Police continue to investigate a series of similar assaults which took place in June. While the description of the suspect sounds similar, no definitive connection has been established.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Boston Police Dept. at 617-343-4248.
