Scrappers trash Detroit hot rod shop after pot bust next door

Posted: Updated:
DETROIT (WJBK) -

Trey Arnold's custom hotrod shop is in shambles. All of his hard work and dreams were recently destroyed by scrappers who busted into his shop after the marijuana operation in the same building on Cruse Street in Detroit was raided by Michigan State Police on Monday.

Watch Amy Lange's full video report above.

Arnold says more than $100,000 worth of shop equipment was either stolen or destroyed by the scrappers. To make matters worse, Arnold's dog also came up missing after the break-in.

Michigan State Police hired a company to secure the building after the raid, but clearly that didn't keep these thieves out.
