Pro Football Hall of Fame drops Hernandez's photo from museum
(MyFoxBoston.com) – Former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez had his photo removed from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio after the museum received several complaints.
An official from the museum told The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer that "in the spirit of good taste" the photo of Hernandez high-stepping into the end zone during a 2010 game against the Green Bay Packers was taken down.
The photo was chosen as the winning entry in 2010 for the Hall of Fame's annual photo contest.
Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd. The Patriots released Hernandez after he was taken into custody on June 26.
