Police in Leicester search for those responsible for 'Snowden' graffiti

LEICESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Leicester are searching for a suspect or suspects responsible for spray painting "Snowden" graffiti on several buildings along Route 9 overnight Wednesday.

According to police, the vandal or vandals traveled along Route 9 in Leicester Wednesday night into Thursday morning and spray painted, "Who is Edward Snowden?" on several buildings.

The Leicester Police Department is offering a $200 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the graffiti.

Police said the graffiti was several miles apart indicating that the suspect or suspects involved may have used some form of transportation.

The vandalism will cost the businesses who were affected hundreds of dollars.

Police in Leicester have been in contact with authorities in Worcester who reported having similar graffiti incidents that same night.
