QUINCY, Mass. (AP) - A Connecticut man who claims in a lawsuit that former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez shot him in the face in February has appeared in court in a drunken driving case.
Alexander Bradley has pleaded not guilty to drunken driving and speeding. He attended a pretrial hearing Tuesday in Quincy District Court. Bradley and his attorney did not comment afterward.
A state police report said Bradley was driving 105 mph on Boston's Southeast Expressway Jan. 28, with Hernandez in the car.
Bradley has been ordered to appear Wednesday before a Fall River grand jury investigating the June fatal shooting of Odin Lloyd of Boston. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to murder in that case.
Bradley's lawsuit claims he lost an eye when Hernandez shot him after they argued at a Miami strip club.
