DA seeks help in disappearance of Quincy woman, who vanished two years ago
(MyFoxBoston.com) – There is a new push from police to help find a man connected to the disappearance of a Quincy woman.
Tuesday marked the two-year anniversary of 23-year-old Evelin Valibayova's disappearance from her Quincy apartment. At the time, investigators say they suspected foul play based on evidence found in her home. FOX 25 has now learned that evidence was a pool of blood.
Investigators believe she was seriously hurt and suspect her disappearance was not an accident.
The district attorney is now calling this a homicide investigation.
Police are asking the public to help them find a man shown in a photo wearing a white shirt. Authorities said he used Valibayova's Charlie Card after her death.
If you have any information that could help, call state police.
