TEWKSBURY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 40-year-old Tewksbury man was arrested for sexual conduct for a fee at the Tewksbury Public Library Thursday.

Michael Crosby is accused of posting an ad on Craigslist from the Tewksbury Public Library saying he would perform sexual acts for a fee. In the ad, he then allegedly requested possible clients to respond to the library where they "can play private in the bathroom."

Police set up an undercover operation and a detective met briefly with Crosby at the library. Crosby was then arrested inside the library.

Crosby is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.

The Tewksbury Police Department urges any citizens who suspect criminal activity to call 978-851-7373.
