Police release new surveillance pictures in search for assault suspect on Beacon Hill
BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police have released two new photos of a man accused of assaulting a woman on Beacon Hill earlier this month.
There were similar attacks on women walking in the area earlier this spring. Police say the man sexually assaulted a woman on July 8. The victim was walking towards the Charles Street T stop on Brimmer Street when the suspect attacked her and then took off.
The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-20s with a slim to medium build with brown shaggy hair.
This is the fourth assault on women in that area in two months. Police are not officially linking all of them.
Three assaults were reported over a two-day span within blocks of each other in May. Two of the women in those instances were assaulted while trying to enter their homes. And the victims also described the suspect as a young white man.
While investigators continue to look into the possibility that the assaults are connected due to the similar descriptions, they aren't definitively connecting the attacks at this point.
