MANCHESTER, NH (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A man and his son were treated at the hospital Friday after they were attacked with pepper spray outside a New Hampshire Chuck E Cheese.

Investigators were called to 1525 South Willow Street in Manchester just before 3 p.m. Friday for an assault in progress.

A father told investigators he was leaving Chuck E Cheese with his two young children when he was attacked from behind. He was placing one of his children into a car seat when he was grabbed from behind by an unknown man who pulled him backwards by the neck. The father said he was then sprayed in the face with what investigators describe as an irritant as one suspect went through his pockets as another asked, "Where is it?"

The father said the suspects never told him what they were looking for and fled the area empty handed.

Both the father and his son were transported to the hospital after the spray made contact with their eyes.

Both suspects are described as white men in their mid- to late 20s. The suspect who sprayed the victims is described as 5'8" tall, with spiked blonde hair. At the time of the attack, he was wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

The second suspect is described as 5'11" tall, with a shaved head and mustache. He was wearing a blue button down baseball shirt and blue jeans at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Manchester police at 603-668-8711.
