Van crashes into dollar store, erupts in flames

DETROIT (MyFox Detroit) -

A minivan crashed through the front window of the Dollar Value store on Detroit's west side Tuesday morning. Police don't believe anyone was hurt in the crash.

This is the dollar store on the corner of Plymouth and Rutherford.

After the minivan crashed, it erupted into flames, catching the entire store on fire. Detroit police say the driver's side door was open and nobody was found inside.

The minivan was seen being towed out of the dollar store around 6:30 A.M.

Detroit Police are investigating the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
