BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A United Airlines flight from Newark, N.J. to Frankfurt, Germany was forced to land at Logan International Airport in Boston Wednesday due to an engine issue.
United flight 119, a Boeing 757, was diverted to Boston and landed safely at about 5:45 p.m. The plane was carrying 152 passengers and 9 crew members, the airline said in a statement.
Once the plane landed, Massport Fire personnel and United's maintenance team inspected the plane.
All the passengers worked with United Airlines to get on different flights to Frankfurt.
