Police: Suspect attacked NH woman with stun gun-type device

LEBANON, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Lebanon, N.H. are searching for a man accused attacking a woman as she was walking in the area of Wyeth Farm Circle late Sunday night.

Officers responded to the reported assault in the vicinity of the Hanover town line on North Main Street at about 11 p.m.

Upon arrival, the victim told police she was knocked to the ground, but fought back and screamed during the struggle. Additionally, she said the suspect used something that resembled a stun gun during the assault.

Following the encounter, the man ran to a car parked nearby and drove away.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and has since been released.

According to police, the suspect is described as a heavyset, white male approximately 5'9" tall. He is balding on the top of his head, but has dark hair on the sides. At the time of the alleged attack, he was wearing thin-rimmed glasses, a t-shirt, and long pants.

The suspect car is described as a dark-colored, four-door sedan with unknown Vermont plates.
