Police: Single suspect may be responsible Dunkin' Donuts robberies

DEDHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police believe the suspect responsible for robbing a Dunkin' Donuts in Dedham Monday night may be responsible for a string of similar robberies that took place at various chain locations since March 2013.

Police say the Dunkin' Donuts located at 935 Providence Highway was robbed at about 10 p.m. Monday.

The suspect in this case resembles the description of a suspect wanted in connection with a string of robberies that have occurred at various Dunkin' Donuts since March 2013, police say.

Some of the locations that have been robbed include North Attleborough, Plainville, Norton, Canton, Norwood, Walpole, Newton, West Roxbury, Westwood, Raynham, and Easton. In some robberies, the suspect has physically climbed in through the drive-through window and gotten away with cash.

Police in Canton and the Canton-based chain are offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect who is described as a white or Hispanic male.

Anyone with information regarding the robberies is asked to contact the Dedham Police Dept. at 781-751-9300.

The alleged robbery in Dedham remains under investigation.
