BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A man was fatally hit by a Red Line train at the Broadway MBTA Station Saturday.

Transit police say preliminary reports suggest an unidentified 30-year-old Asian man was trespassing on the inbound track at about 8:30 a.m. when he was hit. He was later pronounced deceased.

Broadway Station was closed down for an investigation. Red Line passengers were shuttled between JFK and Park Street Station by bus. The station was expected to reopen by 12 p.m.

Police are working alongside the Suffolk County District Attorney's office to investigate the death.
