T-shirts with prescription drug names criticized

Powerful prescription drug names placed on the back of jerseys and highlighted on t-shirts are the latest trend from L.A. clothing boutique shop Kitson. The trendy fashion spot is popular among celebrities.

But their new line is drawing criticism from actress Kristn Johnston. The former "3rd Rock from the Sun" star wrote on her Twitter page "Millions are dying, & u want to make $ off it. SHAME ON YOU."

Dr. Harris Stratyner, a psychologist, told Fox 5 the shirts just aren't a good fit. He said trivializing prescription drugs can have dangerous consequences.

But in a statement, Kitson is defending itself, saying the T-shirts are about art. Designer Brian Lichtenberg said: "These tees are not meant to encourage prescription drug abuse. But if they open the door, to a much needed dialogue, as they seem to be doing now, then mission accomplished."
