SALEM, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 72-year-old New Hampshire man was arrested and charged with attempted sex assault on a minor, the result of an investigation that started in 2012.
Ronald Libby, of Salem, was taken into custody on August 22. He was released on $50,000 personal recognizance, with conditions.
Police say Libby's wife babysat numerous children in their Salem home over the past few decades.
According to police, the minor victim in this case reported that on several occasions while being babysat, Libby attempted to get the victim to touch him inappropriately and the suspect tried to touch the victim inappropriately.
Police said the case remains very active with several other potential minor victims over the years having been identified.
