MANCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 53-year-old New Hampshire man is facing drug charges after he allegedly had pipes packed with marijuana sent to him through the mail.

Bertrand Brouillard, of Manchester, was taken into custody at about 3 p.m. Tuesday after he received a package at 247 Pearl Street. According to authorities, the package contained four pounds of marijuana.

The Manchester Police Department's K-9 Unit first detected the presence of drugs inside the package, and as a result, police conducted surveillance on the delivery of the packages.

Police also worked with the postal inspector to arrest Brouillard.

Brouillard was charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. He is expected to be in court Wednesday.
