CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com/AP) - A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in a Cambridge Park.

Police say they found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds in JFK Park on Memorial Drive just before 9 p.m. Sunday.

Witnesses told police that the suspect approached the victim and muttered something about "being robbed in Oregon," before pulling out a knife and stabbing him multiple times in the back, hip and neck. The man was taken to Beth Israel Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police said they arrested 25-year-old Nicolas Baker, of Guildford, Vt. in connection with the attack. He was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property.

Police said Baker became enraged while being booked and punched a booking room wall.

He will be arraigned in Cambridge District Court Monday.
