A warm front pushing toward us Monday night was bringing clouds ahead of it. That front will be close by all day Tuesday. We'll likely have a few showers or thunderstorms because of the front.
Behind it, warmer and more humid air is on the way. Wednesday will be the peak of the heat with highs in the 90s, 80s at the coast, and high humidity to go with it. That air blowing in on southwest winds. A cold front will come through Thursday with thunderstorms. If that front slows down, we could be close to 90 again. We haven't seen 90+ since July 20 (96 degrees).
The cold front will bring a quick end to the heat. Highs Friday may beat 70, but Saturday morning will be chilly with lows in the 40s. Highs will rebound to the 60s.
It is a week of quick changes. Check in with Shiri first thing in the morning on the FOX 25 Morning News for latest on storm threat.
